Reflections from the "Using Your Computer to Enhance Classroom Instruction" (Mac Basics) professional development course offered by the IT department of the Canyons School District
I liked the game that we participated in. This is a good idea to have a review for a test using this game format. Learning about the new forms coming out for next year gave me an idea of what will be going on for next year. I liked the video on copyright. It was a great way to understand a very real condition that we need to follow.
The NetSafe Overview Jeopardy game was a great way to introduce internet safety and citizenship. I learned key ideas and concepts I didn’t know that there were so many videos available to view on the matter also. It was nice to get a heads up on the new release form coming out about the media for next year and it was good to get a review of the fair use policies.
A Big Thank you to all my great Ed Tech teachers for continuing to teach practically private lessons toward the end of this course. I’ve learned so very much! Have a great summer to you all!
