Music - Using iTunes and GarageBand to purchase and organize music
WOW this was the best class so far. I have never opened garage band and I am amazed at how easy this was. Everyone always says "Do a podcast" and I never knew where to go or where to start. I had ideas on the what but no knowledge on the "how". Now I know. THANK YOU!!!! Julie McFarland
Karen said: Garage Band and I-Tunes are something I've never used. That will be changing. I will be setting up an account any day now. This is a great tool for fluency and projects. Can't wait! Now if we could all just have access to 10 or more computers in our rooms AT ALL TIMES. Teeheeee
PLEASE KNOW THAT I'M ON MY 7th Class. List on Cactus please. Karen Johnson
It was so much fun making a podcast in garage band. I think that this is a marvelous tool that the students can use to hear their reading. I am so impressed that I could actually do the podcast! I know that I need to practice more and hope to take the garage band class to learn more about this feature. I also liked to learn about Itunes. I LOVE THESE CLASSES!
What a Great Class! I enjoyed learning about iTunes and GarageBand. I was surprised how easy it was to record my voice reading the poem and adding a jungle with sound effects. My students will enjoy recording and listening to their voices also. Many Thanks! Donnelle Jensen
Sharie Johnson I will be able to use the voice recording feature in Garage Band with my resource students. They need new motivation to read accurately, with voice inflection, and at a steady pace. Hearing themselves will help them to self-monitor their own progress. Thank you again for the excellent instruction and personal help.
Learning about Garage Band was so much fun! I am excited to incorporate it into my classroom. I know the students will love it also. I have now begun the task of organizing my itunes. I love coming each week and learning things that are beneficial. Thank you for your guidance and help. You all do an amazing job. Lisa Rigby Oak Hollow
I think that the students will enjoy this to be able to record what they have done and to play back for their peers what they have done. I think this is a great idea for student learning.
