5. The Internet and You: A relationship that will last a lifetime... or until they change it again...
These classes are the best. Thank you for your help, support and patience with my lack of knowledge! I have learned how to customize both my Firefox and Safari websites. The settings will help save time with attendance and Pearson. I learned what cache and cookies mean! I am so excited to use Omnidazzle with my class tomorrow!!!!
I have enjoyed these classes. I am learning so much. Thank you for giving some troubleshooting tips! I always get so frustrated when I can't figure out what is wrong and how to fix it. I had no idea I had cache and cookies. Thank you for clarifying what they mean. I had never paid attention and noticed the home, the x, and the reload button. I can use them now. Thank you for helping me add the history button also. Thank you again for making the internet user friendly for me.
I have enjoyed all the classes I have attended so far. The class on the internet was full of information and very helpful. I have always used Safari, but now feel comfortable using Firefox as well. Also, your explanation of what cookies and cache are actually made sense to me. When I have asked people in the past, several can not really give a good definition, so thank you for that also. I am looking forward to part 2 of the internet section. I am ready to do some bookmarking!
I enjoy that we go slowly. We review things that I have learned but haven't practiced enough and then besides getting practice I also get knowledge to add to what I have. Thanks, Ann Simonds
Thanks for the helpful information concerning the the browsers. I use firefox and it was helpful to go through and clean up my bookmarks. I really needed to do that. The time went by too fast and I still need to get more of my bookmarks cleaned up. Thanks for the class.
good reminders about always trying to shut down the computer first! Sometimes when I'm frustrated I forget that. Lots of information.

Any way you could give us handouts? I learned a lot tonight. I set my preferences and I know it will make it easier for me to search on the web.
